Chip Spreader
Chip spreader is used for spreading aggregate, stone dust, stone chips, coarse sand, crushed stone, and pre-coated aggregate in asphalt pavement surface treatment and asphalt penetration construction.
The chip spreader is suitable for aggregate spreading in prime coat-related surface treatment, underseal, chip seal, micro surfacing, and other road construction and pavement maintenance applications.

During operation, the truck bed is raised so the stone chips flow by gravity toward the rotating spreading roller. The spreading roller feeds the chips onto the distribution plate. The distribution plate expands the spreading width from 2,300 mm to 3,500 mm, allowing the chips to pass through the slide plate and spread evenly across the pavement surface.
