Hot Recycling Pothole Patcher
As asphalt pavement ages, defects such as potholes, cracks, shoving, settlement, and alligator cracking often require timely repair. Traditional excavation and milling can generate large amounts of reclaimed asphalt material. If this reclaimed material is not reused, it can increase waste and consume additional paving resources.
Metong pothole patcher, also known as a hot recycling asphalt patch truck, is designed for on-site repair of potholes, cracks, shoving, alligator cracking, and other pavement defects. The pothole patcher can reuse reclaimed asphalt material generated during repair for on-site hot recycling, helping restore pavement performance while reducing material waste and maintenance costs.

The pothole patcher is mainly used for early-stage pavement distress repair on highways, trunk roads, and municipal streets, such as:
- On-site hot recycling
The Pothole Patcher can use reclaimed asphalt material generated from pothole excavation for on-site hot recycling, supporting up to 100% reuse of reclaimed material and helping reduce maintenance costs. - Pavement milling
The Pothole Patcher can mill damaged pavement areas before repair, helping prepare the defective section for patching. - Cold asphalt mix heating
The Pothole Patcher can heat cold asphalt mixture blocks to 140–160°C for repair use. Each batch takes about 8–15 minutes, making it suitable for winter maintenance when asphalt mixing plants are not operating. - Fresh asphalt mix production
The Pothole Patcher can produce fresh asphalt mix and can also heat and process reclaimed or freshly mixed materials for repair work. - Tack coat spraying
The Pothole Patcher is equipped with a hand spray wand for tack coat application during pothole repair. An electrically heated crack sealing device can also be configured for hot asphalt crack sealing. - Optional auxiliary tools
Multiple auxiliary tools can be configured for pothole repair tasks, with hydraulic and electrical power interfaces available for jobsite operation.
